DHL Supply Chain, the German post group’s contract logistics unit, has appointed Steve Walker as chief executive officer for its Thailand cluster, which covers Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Walker will be based in Bangkok to oversee business strategy and new business development. He will be responsible for driving growth in warehousing, transportation, value added supply chain services as well as spearhead the digitalization, innovation and sustainability projects across the different markets.

Walker was most recently the chief operating officer and chief information officer for DHL Supply Chain in Asia Pacific, where he took charge of technology and operations excellence across more than 700 operational sites in the region. The industry veteran, with nearly four decades of experience in global supply chains, has played a key role in improving operational processes, enhancing service quality, developing customised solutions as well as leading digitalisation and innovative logistics projects for customers.
