Emirates restarts flights to support New Zealand exports
Emirates SkyCargo restarted cargo flights to New Zealand in early May using its passenger aircraft, as part of the country’s International Airfreight Capacity Scheme (IAFC) to connect exporters with the international market. HAECO extends MRO pact with German cargo airline
HAECO Hong Kong has extended its long-term agreement with AeroLogic GmbH and will provide heavy maintenance services to the German cargo airline’s B777-200 freighter fleet between 2021 and 2024, including the current fleet of 18 B777F aircraft. Saudia Cargo opens new route to Copenhagen
Saudia Cargo is opening a new route and widening its network to transport cargo to Europe and Scandinavia with the launch of two commercial flights to Copenhagen each week. The route, which kicked off on 22 May, will see the airline fly its B777-300 passenger planes, with 140-tonne payload capacity on each flight, scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday. Collins Aerospace inks deal to support Air China fleet
Collins Aerospace is expanding a longstanding support agreement for Air China’s aircraft fleet, together with aircraft maintenance and engineering firm Ameco. The move builds on an existing support agreement for avionics onboard Air China’s Boeing and Airbus aircraft. IndiGo, CFM International extend partnership
India’s low-cost giant IndiGo has selected CFM International’s LEAP-1A engines to power its narrowbody fleet of 310 A320neo, A321neo, and A321XLR aircraft in the pipeline. The move follows a long-term engine service agreement for 280 A320neos in 2019. The new deal includes 620 new installed engines and associated spare engines, and a multiyear service agreement.
