Air India and South African Airways (SAA) have signed a code share agreement on SAA’s route between Johannesburg and Mumbai, as well as on the domestic sectors between Johannesburg – Durban and Johannesburg – Cape Town. AUSTRALIA: Qantas pleads guilty to Canadian price-fixing
Qantas Airways recently became the fourth carrier to be convicted in a four-year price-fixing conspiracy involving air cargo exported from Canada. The Australian carrier pleaded guilty to Canada’s Competition Bureau to illegally fixing surcharges between May 2002 and February 2006 on some cargo trucked from Canada to the US for through shipment to Australia and elsewhere.
