Talks between DHL and UPS over carrying some of the European express company’s packages in the US have come to an end, the Associated Press reported Friday. AMERICAS: Boeing begins parking jets off production line
At least four freighters so far have been parked – two at Paine Field outside Seattle and two in the Arizona desert – after rolling out of Boeing’s Everett production line as a result of the ongoing slump in cargo demand, according to a Seattle Times report. Brussels Airlines has reported a €12.2 million net loss for last year, a reversal from the €23.1 million profit earned in 2007, due largely to fuel hedging losses.
