The free trade port in southern China's Hainan province has launched its first intercontinental air freight route, linking the provincial capital of Haikou with Amsterdam, Xinhua News reports. LATAM Cargo Brazil has inaugurated its second largest cargo hub (connection centre) in the country at Brasília International Airport (BSB) on 9 November. Record quarter loss spurs Singapore Airlines to seek liquidity
Singapore Airlines Ltd. plans to raise more liquidity after posting its biggest quarterly loss of S$2.3 billion in the three months to September as international travel all but dried up, Bloomberg reports. Amazon Air opens first European hub at Leipzig/Halle Airport
Amazon Air has started operations at its first regional air hub in Europe this month at the Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ) in Schkeuditz, Germany.
