Singapore Airlines Cargo (SIA Cargo) continues to see declining freight traffic with an 8.1 per cent decline in volume for the month of February, year-on-year to 73.9 million kg from the 80.4 million kg it uplifted in February 2013. Singapore Airlines cuts flights as load factors fall
Singapore Airlines (SIA) saw its cargo load factor for December drop 6.8 percentage points to 55.2 per cent from 62 per cent a year earlier while passenger load factor dropped 4.4 percentage points to 79.9 per cent from a year earlier. Singapore Airlines’ cargo unit said recently that it has awarded a US$349 million maintenance deal to Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners.
