Cathay Pacific Airways today released combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for March 2016 that show a marginal decrease in the volume of cargo and mail uplifted. The two airlines carried 157,006 tonnes of cargo and mail in March, a drop of 0.4 per cent compared to the same month last year. Cathay Pacific Airways today released combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for July 2015 continuing the trend of strong year-on-year growth in the number of passengers carried but only a marginal increase in the volume of cargo and mail uplifted. Cathay reports 28.8% growth in Feb cargo tonnage
Cathay Pacific Airways recorded double-digit growth in cargo in February. The company’s two airlines, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, together carried 130,467 tonnes of cargo last month, a year-on-year increase of 28.8 per cent, though less than the 147,275 tonnes carried in January. Cathay launches Kolkata freighter service
Cathay Pacific Airways is starting a bi-weekly non-stop freighter service from Kolkata airport to Hong Kong, aimed at boosting import and export in the region. Operating on Thursdays and Sundays, the company will operate B747-400F to carry an estimated 30 tonnes of cargo to and fro Kolkata. Cathay adds Phnom Penh freighter service
Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a new freighter service to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, commencing 23 November 2014.
