The Cathay Group reached another major milestone on its rebuild journey as it fully repaid the Hong Kong SAR (HKSAR) Government’s HK$19.5 billion investment. DB Schenker is the latest member of the air-cargo community to join Cathay’s Corporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Programme. Cathay Cargo expecting traditional winter peak season
Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried 151,000 tonnes of cargo and mail in September, an increase of 2.8 per cent compared to the same month last year. Cargo and mail revenue tonne kilometres (RTKs) flown increased by 3.4 per cent, as capacity, measured in available cargo/mail tonne kilometres, rose by 3.0 per cent, leading the cargo and mail load factor to rise by 0.2 percentage points to 62.4 per cent. Cathay Pacific sees six-fold rise in 1H net profit
The Cathay Pacific Group has reported an attributable profit of HK$1,972 million (US$254.4 million) for the first six months of 2015. This is nearly a six-fold jump from the HK$347 million profit in the first half of 2014. Revenue for the period decreased by 0.9 per cent to HK$50,388 million.
