DHL Supply Chain to invest $173M in China
DHL Supply Chain (DSC) announced that it will commit a further EUR 113 million (US$173 million) in China as its strategy gains traction. This is on the back of EUR 105 million that was committed in 2013, bringing the total committed to EUR 218 million. Royal Jordanian has signed a deal with global technology and distribution solutions provider, Amadeus for a full Amadeus Altéa Customer Management and ecommerce suite of solutions. DHL has announced an investment of over HK$100 million (US$13 million) in Hong Kong involving a new 120,000 sq ft DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) office in Kowloon Commerce Centre (KCC) and a DHL Fashion Competency Centre, also based in KCC.
