JD Logistics IPO in Hong Kong moves back on track
JD.com, China's number 2 e-commerce company, has filed the draft prospectus to list its logistics unit with the Hong Kong’s stock exchange. A timing for the IPO was not disclosed but according to reports the company is eyeing to raise at least US$4 billion. Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is eyeing to list its shipping business JD Logistics in Hong Kong as it looks to ride on China’s post-coronavirus e-commerce boom. China’s second largest online retailer JD.com is partnering with Japanese logistics company, Yamato Holdings for quicker, cheaper delivery of products from Japan to China as early as May, according to a report in the Nikkei Asian Review.
