Chinese ecommerce giant JD has opened its newest automated logistics park in the autonomous region Ningxia in northwest China on 10 June, the company announced in a press release. The automated warehouse will be mainly used for food, electronics, home appliances, apparel, general merchandise and imported goods and will serve neighboring provinces Qinghai and Gansu. JD Logistics raises US$3.1b in IPO, launches charter flights
Chinese e-commerce giant JD has opened an air cargo route to Thailand and will operate all-cargo charter flights between Shenzhen and Bangkok starting 28 May, marking its first in the Asia Pacific region. JD Logistics IPO in Hong Kong moves back on track
JD.com, China's number 2 e-commerce company, has filed the draft prospectus to list its logistics unit with the Hong Kong’s stock exchange. A timing for the IPO was not disclosed but according to reports the company is eyeing to raise at least US$4 billion. Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is eyeing to list its shipping business JD Logistics in Hong Kong as it looks to ride on China’s post-coronavirus e-commerce boom.
