Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based Malindo Air, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s Lion Air, has received permission from India’s aviation authorities to commence flights to the country with services to Delhi beginning from 30 December 2013 using B737-900 aircraft. Another carrier - Australia's Queensland-based carrier SkyAirWorld - has gone belly-up joining the swelling ranks of small rural aviation service providers downunder that are falling victim to the global recession.
