Copenhagen-based logistics provider Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has taken another step in building on its 10-year-strong presence in China and Hong Kong with the acquisition of Sea-Air Logistics (SAL), headquartered in Hong Kong. Aramex has broken ground on its Dubai-based Logistics Centre, located in Dubai Logistics City (DLC). The AED 120 million (US$37.2 million) facility encompasses a built-up area of over 43,000 square metres, situated over a 140,000 square-metre area of land, and is due for completion in the first quarter of 2011.
