London Stansted sees steady climb in cargo volumes

London Stansted Airport reported a continued upward trajectory in cargo volumes with over 21,000 tonnes of goods and products passing through the airport’s dedicated cargo facility during the month pf September, representing a 5.4 per cent year-on-year growth, to take the annual total for the last 12 months ending September to over 250,000 tonnes, an increase of 6.5 per cent over the previous year. Spacecraft module latest aerospace cargo for Volga-Dnepr

A spacecraft module and three tonnes of support equipment was flown from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to London Stansted onboard one of the airline’s IL-76TD-90VD freighters, with the transportation organised by DG Terminal. AirAsia X to begin cargo ops to London Stansted
