MASkargo runs maiden cabin-in-cargo flight from Shanghai to Melbourne
Malaysia Airlines’ cargo arm MASkargo flew its maiden cargo-in-cabin flight from Pudong, China to Melbourne using an Airbus 330-300 passenger aircraft on 11 August. The flight from China carried approximately 5,000 boxes of sterile isolation gowns for healthcare workers in Melbourne, which were strapped on the seats, stowed in the overheard compartments, and stashed in the belly of the aircraft. MAB Kargo launches twice weekly Guangzhou service with A330F
MAB Kargo is strengthening its footprint in the East of China with the launch of new freighter service to Guangzhou (CAN) from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) as part of its extensive routes in the East China region. A MAB Kargo A330-200 freighter will operate twice weekly services to CAN commencing from 8 November 2016. These services make a new stop at Guangzhou every Tuesday and Thursday. Unisys Corporation today announced that MAB Kargo Sdn Bhd (MASkargo) has successfully cut over to Unisys ’cloud-based Logistics Management System (LMS) to manage its domestic and international cargo services.
