Cathay Pacific Airways today released combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for March 2016 that show a marginal decrease in the volume of cargo and mail uplifted. Cathay Pacific Airways has released its combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for June 2015 that show a marginal increase in the volume of cargo and mail along side a healthy rise in the number of passengers carried compared to the same month in 2014. Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried 144,579 tonnes of cargo and mail last month, an increase of 5.2 per cent compared to the same month last year. The cargo and mail load factor fell by 0.5 percentage points to 62.6 per cent. Cathay reports 28.8% growth in Feb cargo tonnage
Cathay Pacific Airways recorded double-digit growth in cargo in February. The company’s two airlines, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, together carried 130,467 tonnes of cargo last month, a year-on-year increase of 28.8 per cent, though less than the 147,275 tonnes carried in January. Cathay Pacific and sister airline Dragonair combined carried 165,102 tonnes of cargo and mail in November, an increase of 12 per cent compared to the same month last year.
