Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has awarded a cargo handling contract to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) at a fourth major airport gateway in North America. The new three-year agreement will see WFS, a member of SATS Group, handle cargo onboard SAS flights to and from Boston. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has entered into a slot transaction with Turkish Airlines that will take over one afternoon slot-pair at London Heathrow from SAS at the beginning of the winter traffic programme on 25 October 2015. Former SAS Cargo sales director Jan Lillieborg, who is charged with the obstruction of justice in connection with the airline’s involvement in the globe-spanning cargo price fixing scandal, is said to be on the run after being fired from his new job, according to the Copenhagen Post.
