Irish aircraft lessor CDB Aviation is on pace to launch the very first A330-300P2F converted freighter in China this year. The company, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing (CDB Leasing), has secured lease commitments from Sichuan Airlines and Jiangxi Cargo Airlines. Sichuan Airlines to begin Dubai service in Sept
Sichuan Airlines has announced it will expand its international network next month, with the launch of its first ever flights to the Middle East. From 4 September the airline will operate twice weekly flights from Chengdu, the capital of southwest China’s Sichuan province, to Dubai. Xiamen Airlines to acquire Hebei Airlines
China Southern Airlines has approved Xiamen Airlines' acquisition of a 95.4 per cent equity interest in Hebei Airlines for CNY680million (US$106.3 million). China Southern said its subsidiary had also been given the greenlight to acquire Sichuan Airlines' 3.83 per cent stake in Hebei for CNY69 million giving it control of 99.23 per cent of Hebei's total stock.
