Trans Global Logistics (TGL), a Hong Kong-based logistics company, has reorganised its operations in North Asia.
The move will complement the company’s country-by-country management, operations and sales organisation with a new structure, which focuses on building business and delivering customer service on a region-wide basis.
The realignment places five countries within the Trans Global Logistics network under the North Asia region: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Donald Woo, CEO of TGL said: "Our customers are increasingly manufacturing and shipping product from multiple locations throughout Asia and our new structure will help us to continue to deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction."
Trans Global has named Steven Wong as North Asia regional director. Wong was a founding member of TGL’s Hong Kong operation, and he was most recently general manager of Hong Kong operations since 1999.
TGL said that Linda Cheng, general manager of Taiwan, will take on a dual role as senior vice president of sales and marketing, North Asia. J.B. Chang, general manager of Korea, will assume an additional role as vice president of business development, North Asia.
