British Airways (BA) said it is inexclusive talks to transfer its groundhandling operation at Aberdeen,Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchesterairports to Aviance UK, an independentground handling company.

This follows an extensive reviewof the airline’s UK regional groundhandling operation. British Airwaysalready uses a third party to undertakeground handling at Newcastle airportand at the majority of airports aroundthe world.

Ground handling at London Heathrowand London Gatwick airports isunaffected.
