EMC Corp, whose computer storagedevices are used as part of telecommunicationssystems from mainland firmsHuawei Technologies and ZTE, hasopened its Asia-Pacific logistics centrein Hong Kong. The new operation,backed by DHL Exel Supply Chain,will help to speed up shipments forEMC’s mainland original equipmentmanufacturing partners and its othercustomers in the region.
The EMC Asia-Pacific and JapanSupply Chain and Logistics Centre inTsuen Wan is under the management ofDHL Exel Supply Chain, a unit of globalexpress and logistics firm DHL.
EMC, which started commercialoperations on the mainland in 1996,will expand its regional supply chainand logistics facility in the second halfof this year.
