UK-based DSV Air & Sea Holding (part of the DSV Group) has acquired 100 percent of the shares of Active Freight Management LCC in Dubai,UAE.

Active Freight Management LCC was DSV’s current co-operation partner in Dubai prior to the acquisition. The company has a budgeted turnover of DKK 40 million in 2007 and has 12 employeesworking at the location in Dubai.

The company will change its name to DSV Air & Sea LCC. The parties have agreed not to publish the acquisition price. Hugh Burnham, managing director of DSV Air & Sea said: "This move further strengthens our expanding global network. The Middle East is an important and growing market for our customers and we see great business potential for DSV in the region."
