Malaysia Airlines (MAS) announced changes to its management team yesterday, including the appointment of Shahari Sulaiman as the new managing director of Malaysia Airlines Cargo Sdn Bhd effective September 1, replacing J J Ong, who holds the current post. Ong is leaving MAS to become managing director and chief executive offi cer of a Chinese-owned real estate company.

Tajuden Abu Bakar will be the new operations director, replacing Peter Read, who will return to the UK.
