time:matters said it has opened a new branch offi ce in Vienna, which will also provide services to Slovakia and Slovenia; and a new sales offi ce in Shanghai.

Following Switzerland, Austria is the second European country in which time: matters is represented by a subsidiary. The Shanghai offi ce is the company’s second branch in East Asia – the fi rst being in Manila.

The goal of the sales activities in China is to utilise the Chinese market’s dynamic growth to establish time: matters-Services in Asia. The hi-tech and automotive segments are of special interest: both branches report a continual increase in demand for specialist logistics solutions.

time:matters shipments can be transported to and from Shanghai by airlines such as Lufthansa, SWISS and Air China, which belong to the international time: matters network. This enables sameday deliveries for consignments between Asia and Europe.
