Hong Kong’s continuing integration with Mainland China as a cargo hub is creating a rosy future for Hong Kongbased companies in the logistics service sector, associate director-general of investment promotion at Invest HongKong, Charles Ng, said.
Speaking at a recent ceremony of French company, Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), Ng said that Hong Kong continued to provide a fertile ground for foreign companies toexpand their local and regional operations.
“Hong Kong has an enviable position as Asia’s leading travel and cargo business centre – and the signs are that this is not going to slow any time soon,” he added.
WFS, which provides ground handling services including cargo, ramp and technical services, was fi rst awarded the franchise at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in 2002.
