The Houston Airport System has appointed Rob Wigington as deputy director of marketing, communications and community affairs. He is responsible for worldwide air service development, media relations, international relations, advertising and community affairs. Previously, Wigington served as the director of marketing for San Diego InternationalAirport.

His 25 years of industry experience include serving as executive vice president, chief fi nancial/operating offi cer for the Airports Council International- North America; leading airport/aviation consulting practices for Fleishman-Hillard/GPC and Booz Allen Hamilton; and handling public and community relations and intergovernmental affairs for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
