The General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) said it has taken away one scheduled fl ight each from Air China and China Eastern Airlines out of Beijing Capital International Airport due to repeated delays.
The CAAC had issued two warnings previously due to the delays. Three fl ights of Air China and one of China Eastern suffered delays of over 10 hours last month, according to the regulator. It did not give a reason behind the delays, the administration said in a statement on its website.
The CAAC added that aircraft movement intervals at Beijing airport have averaged no more than one minute at peak hours.
