Fujairah International Airport reported a 17 percent growth in cargo traffi c in the fi rst half of this year compared with the same period last year.

Volumes handled by the end of June reached 14,723 tonnes, up from 12,642 last year. Cargo fl ights increased by 22 percent in the six-month period. Dr Khalid Al Mazroui, GM of the airport, said a much improved second half was also expected.
