China Eastern Airlines said it is movingto complete a stake sale deal withSingapore Airlines “as soon as possible” following Cathay Pacifi c Airways’ decisionearlier this week to back away froma CEA share purchase. The deal couldhave spoiled an earlier agreement inwhich SIA and its main shareholderTemasek Holdings agreed to purchase15.7% and 8.3% stakes.
