Asiana Airlines, Korea¡¯s second biggest carrier, has launched a onceweekly freighter service to Moscow¡¯s Domodedovo airport with a weekly service to Vienna using a Boeing 747- 400F. Domodedovo is one of the largest transport hubs with connections to Europe, Siberia and Far East claiming up to 42 per cent of total air cargo traffi c in the Moscow area. The terminal is one of the largest facilities in Russia, which handles up to 166,000 tonnes of cargo annually with further increases expected in the next few years.
