GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS) today announced the delivery of a new Airbus A320-200 to GoAir as part of the airline’s fleet expansion. This is one of five aircraft GECAS currently leases to the airline. GoAir, based in India, currently operates a fleet of seven A320 aircraft. It also announced the delivery of a new Airbus A320 to Wizz Air as part of the central European low-cost carrier’s fleet expansion. GECAS acquired the A320 through a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with the airline. The aircraft is part of an existing order agreement between Wizz Air and Airbus. Wizz Air, based in Budapest, currently operates a fleet of 21 Airbus A320s. GECAS currently leases five other A320s to the airline.
