The congress has also elected and endorsed a new set of ‘younger’ leaders to drive the association forward over the next five-year term. These include:
Iskandar Zulkarnain, President (supported four vice presidents);
Arman Yahya, Vice President responsible for international affairs, air and ocean;
Herry Susanto, Vice President responsible for the Customs and sea ports affairs;
Mahendra Riyanto, responsible for logistics and information technology; Yukki N. Hanafi, responsible for the internal organisation structure and membership.
Each of the vice presidents will form their own team who will then meet on a regular basis to meet the goals outlined by members attending the congress, as the Association moves along with the ever changing freight and logistics businesses.
The new President is also supported by the Secretary General Siti Aryanti Adiosediro and the Treasurer Sahat Sianipar, while the out-going President Masli Mulia will stay on in an advisory function.
The Indonesia Government has recognised GAFEKSI/INFA as the umbrella group for the air and ocean freight and logistics service providersacross the country since 1987.
