Audi Volkswagen and Swiss global forwarder Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) have announced a three-year strategic partnership for the car manufacturers’ warehouse management and parts distribution in South Korea.
Kuehne + Nagel will handle Audi Volkswagen spare parts for the after market in Korea, including receiving, picking & packing, handling of dangerous goods, shipping and national distribution to Audi Volkswagen dealers throughout the country.
K+N is currently building a new state-of-the-art logistics centre near the Incheon International Airport. Expected to be fully operational by September 2009, the logistics centre will provide 4,500 sq m of dedicated warehouse space for 22,000 stock-keeping units of Audi Volkswagen and will have expansion possibilities for a further 2,000 sq m.
