Airfreight ground handling specialist Cargologic has announced that Marco Gredig has been appointed as head of the Sales, Marketing and Business Development unit at Cargologic where he and his team have overall responsibility for customer relations. Gredig has over 20 years’ experience in the field of logistics and was responsible for setting up the Forwarder Handling business at Cargologic. “His experience and capabilities make him the ideal person to take on this newly created key position,†the company said. “It is his goal to continue upgrading customer services and to add impetus to the company’s intensive customer and business development activities.†The company also said it plans to merge CFS (Cargologic Freight Services AG) with Cargologic AG as of January 2010 in a bid to extract more cost efficiencies.
