FedEx Express announced a series of service enhancements that it says will allow customers to access Timisoara, Romania’s fastest growth area, within one to three business days for International Priority shipments. The improved service will also reduce outbound transit times for customers based in Timisoara, cutting delivery times to Asia and Europe by onebusiness day.

Aimed at strengthening FedEx Express service proposition in Eastern Europe, customers will see improved transit times by up to two days for inbound packages, expedited via a new customs clearance capability at Romania’s Timisoara airport. International Priority shipments from key European countries will now arrive by the next business day, with shipments from the US and key business centres across Asia — such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore or Shanghai arriving within three business days, it said. International Economy shipments from selected Asiaorigin markets to Timisoara will now arrive within four to five business days.
