FedEx Trade Networks, a subsidiary of FedEx and growing international ocean and air freight forwarder, has announced the opening of six new freight forwarding offices. Part of its global expansion plan that saw 10 offices opened across Asia late in 2009, the most recent openings were across its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and Latin American region. With this most recent addition of Brussels, Manchester, London, Mumbai, Chennai and Mexico City the company now has 22 international locations. FedEx Trade Networks’ results are included in the company’s ‘Express’ segment, which accounted for 63 per cent, or US$22.36 billion, of its 2009 revenue.
