Bangladesh now has one unified freight forwarding body – the Bangladesh Freight Forwarders Association (BAFFA). Following approval from the Ministry of Trade & Commerce of Bangladesh, the two existing trade associations representing freight forwarders in the country – the Association of Cargo Agents of Bangladesh (ACAB) and the International Freight Forwarders of Bangladesh (IFFAB) – were merged to form the BAFFA, effective from 22 March 2010.
