China Southern Airlines has announced that it will soon start two new services to Europe and the US, as well as boost flights on current routes, in a bid to strengthen its global air cargo network, according to Xinhua. From 24 July the Chinese carrier’s cargo division began flying between Guangzhou and Amsterdam with four flights a week using its new B777F aircraft. From 28 August the carrier will start to fly between Shanghai and Los Angeles three times a week, also with B777F equipment. The carrier will also increase the frequency of the Shanghai-Amsterdam cargo flights to six times each week.
