China’s Shandong province has its first non-stop US air cargo link with the start of an Asiana Airlines service between Incheon, South Korea, Yantai Laishan International Airport and Los Angeles. The inaugral flight on 21 June saw an Asiana B747-400 loaded with 110 tonnes of cargo depart for LAX.
