PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has redelivered its latest B737-300F (MSN28158) to Beijing-based China Postal Airlines EMS (CPA), the fourth passenger-to-freighter conversion under the current five-aircraft agreement.
All four PEMCO freighter conversions to date have been performed at STAECO’s Jinan Shandong China facility. PEMCO and STAECO have partnered on approximately 50 B737-300 and B737-400 freighter modification projects since 2006.
“It gives our entire team at PEMCO great pride to be China Postal Airlines’ provider of choice. We are honoured for our long-term partnership with CPA and grateful to be working with such dedicated professionals,” said Pastor Lopez, PEMCO CEO.
PEMCO’s latest CPA delivery – a B737-300F – offers nine pallet positions (88×125”, 88×108) capable of up to 43,100 lbs. of payload and 4600 cubic feet of total volume. Like the 60+ customers before them, CPA selected PEMCO’s passenger-to-freighter conversion for its cargo door and loading system, operating economics and two million hours of safe, reliable operations.
