CEVA Logistics has appointed Turhan Ozen as senior vice president responsible for the company’s global Healthcare sector.
CEVA recently launched an independent global Healthcare sector – previously a sub-sector of Consumer and Retail – to leverage the company’s significant presence in this market, with revenues of more than US$300 million annually. CEVA has established business in each of the Healthcare industry’s sub-sectors of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical equipment and diagnostics, medical disposables and vaccines and biotech.
Ozen has over 25 years experience in the supply chain management industry, most recently serving as CEVA’s vice president, business development for the Balkans, Middle East and Africa. He joined CEVA in 2000 after starting his career in logistics with IVECO in 1991. Ozen has held increasingly senior positions of responsibility within the organization, with a track record of developing strong supply chain and operational solutions and delivering fast-paced growth in the markets where he has worked. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Bosphorus University and an Executive M.B.A. from Koc University.
“I am very pleased to have Turhan leading our growth plans for the Healthcare market. His expertise in delivering end-to-end logistics solutions and commitment to creating value for our customers will be invaluable in increasing our presence in this market, both in terms of geography and additional sub-sectors,” said Hakan Bicil, CEVA’s chief commercial officer.
Ozen added: “We have a comprehensive range of services for the Healthcare industry already and I am looking forward to growing and expanding these to better serve our customers in the Healthcare market. As an integrated provider of supply chain solutions, CEVA is able to offer a truly global partnership for Healthcare companies.”
