Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has successfully redelivered a total of 19 passenger-to-freighter conversions during the 2015 calendar year. The conversions were delivered to eleven customers, with all but two of the conversions being the 11 pallet position B737-400SF. AEI currently has 26 confirmed conversion slots for 2016 and is actively working to fill the remaining 10 slots for 2016.

AEI VP of operations, Juan Zapata said: “Last year we reached a major company milestone with the delivery of our 400th conversion.” He added, “As we look toward 2016 and beyond, we see continued robust demand for the AEI conversion products, with the company delivering an average of thirty conversions per year for the foreseeable future.”

Additionally, AEI expects to certify and redeliver the CRJ200 SF conversion in the first half of 2016, followed by the twelve pallet B737-800SF conversion in 2017.
