Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s largest independent cargo handler – has won the “Air Cargo Handling Agent of the Year” award at this year’s World Air Cargo Awards in Shanghai. This marks the sixth time Hactl has won the award, in the twelve years of the competition.
Hactl’s award was, as usual, based on online voting by readers of Air Cargo Week around the world.
Hactl Chief Executive Wilson Kwong received the award at a glittering ceremony in Shanghai’s Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel. The event was the highlight of the Air Cargo China exhibition and conference, and was attended by guests from all over the world.
Speaking after the event, Kwong commented: “While Hactl is honoured to have been consistently recognised by the industry and its customers, we never take these for granted, and these in turn motivate us to do even better. We sincerely thank all those who voted for Hactl, and our colleagues for making Hactl what it is.
“Hactl’s reputation is built on 40 years of investment, innovation, and constant improvement. We are proud of our resultant standing as a leader of our sector. This is a race without a winning line, and one we will continue to run.”
