New Vice President for Air Partner, U.S. Cargo

August 16, 2018 by PLA Editorial

As a seasoned aviation professional, with 11 years of experience in the aviation industry, Jack Burt will put his experience to use as the newly appointed Vice President of Air Partner’s U.S. Cargo Department.

Air Partner, a global aviation group that provides worldwide services across the industry, has announced the addition of Jack Burt as the lead of its U.S. Cargo division. Burt joins the Air Partner family as a seasoned aviation professional, with more than a decade of experience in the field.

“We are excited to welcome Jack Burt to Air Partner’s growing team of aviation experts and are confident that his skills and experience will provide tremendous growth to our company,” said David McCown, president of Air Partner’s U.S. office. “We look forward to growing in the coming years with Jack and are excited to have him on board.”

In his new role, Burt will be responsible for the implementation of air cargo strategy throughout North and South America, as well as the overall establishment of the U.S. cargo division itself. Before becoming the vice president of Air Partner’s U.S. cargo division, Burt served as the cargo director for a number of other aviation companies where he led a large portfolio of clients and was responsible for overall sales. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration finance.

Burt’s appointment comes on the heels of Air Partner’s most successful year to-date. As the company looks ahead, Burt will help expand its offerings, growing the air cargo branch within the United States. With U.S. air cargo opportunity on the rise, the division is becoming a pillar within Air Partner.

The division charters aircraft of every size, delivering cargo to any location 24/7. Typical clients include freight forwarders, government organizations, automotive, engineering and energy companies. The company’s division offers heavy lift and project charter flight solutions, including the use of the largest cargo aircraft in the world, the Boeing 747F, Antonov 124 and Ilyushin Il-76, transporting anything from aircraft parts, oil and gas, automotive parts, humanitarian aid, dangerous goods, high-value and time critical cargo.
