Talend appoints new Strategic Partner Manager for Asia

April 9, 2019 by Payload Asia

Talend, a global leader in cloud data integration solutions, announced the appointment of Adrian (AJ) Lim as Strategic Partner Manager for Asia. Lim will be responsible for building a high-performing ecosystem of partners to support Talend’s regional expansion and initiatives, reporting to Stu Garrow, senior vice president of sales and general manager APAC.

“Asia Pacific organisations are still in the early stages of cloud data integration readiness. To help them progress, organisations can benefit from partners’ expertise to cross the digital gap in terms of technology, skills or process,” said Garrow. “I am glad that Adrian is joining the team. Having previously worked with him for many years I know he will be able to develop and build strong partnerships in Asia Pacific to help our customers take full advantage of the cloud to develop innovative services and products.”

Lim joins Talend with more than 25 years of sales and partner experience in the software industry. Lim was previously responsible for ASEAN Channel Sales and Alliances at MuleSoft, where he built the partner ecosystem of the company when the software vendor was still in its early stages of business in Asia. Previously, Lim was Singapore Channel Sales Leader for IBM, responsible for sales and the development and growth of local business partners. Lim has spent more than 12 years in various positions of responsibility in sales and channel partner management at IBM and Rational Software (acquired by IBM in 2003). Lim started his career as a Software Engineer at NCS Group, the principal IT solutions provider for the Singapore government.

“In my role as the new Strategic Partner Manager for Asia at Talend, I’ll be building on a very solid foundation,” said Lim. “I am thrilled to be joining a recognised leader in cloud data integration solutions. My goal is to facilitate the next level of growth through partner engagement and by enabling our partners to support organisations wanting to capitalise on their data with Talend.”

The Talend Alliance Program is made up of strategically selected partners who are in line with the value proposition and all of the technical capabilities of Talend. Talend works closely with its partners to ensure that every customer project is implemented with best practices and a high level of technical expertise.
