Turkish Cargo ups the ante with more direct airfreight services

Turkish Cargo has 361 aircraft in its fleet, which includes 25 freighters.

Turkish Cargo has expanded its direct cargo network to 95 destinations by adding London, Bucharest, Bangkok, Singapore, Beirut and Lahore to its direct cargo flight destinations, reinforcing its position as “the air cargo brand with the widest direct cargo flight network of the world,” a press release confirmed.

As of September, Turkish Cargo added London Heathrow (LHR), Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Changi Airport (SIN) and Rafic Hariri Airport (BEY) in Lebanon to its cargo flight network.

Also joining its network are Romania’s Henri Coanda Airport (OTP) and Allama Iqbal Airport (LHE) in Lahore. The cargo carrier’s winter schedule will see 31 direct cargo flight destinations in the European continent, 22 in the Middle East and 16 in the Far East.

Turkish Cargo will carry out its global operations to 95 destinations with its 361 aircraft fleet, which includes 25 freighters.

Achieving a sustainable growth with its infrastructure, operational capabilities, fleet and team of leading experts, the Turkish carrier’s brand strategy “Raise the Bar” continues to raise its service quality in a sustainable manner by surpassing expectations in the ever-changing world with its new brand strategy, “Raise the Bar,” the release added.

Before the pandemic, Turkish Cargo achieved the highest growth rate in cargo traffic amongst the top 25 air cargo carriers at 16.6 percent, according to IATA.
