SpiceXpress, the cargo arm of SpiceJet, has launched scheduled cargo flights connecting Mumbai and Delhi with Bangkok and will deploy its B737-800F aircraft on the said routes.
SpiceJet’s scheduled cargo services will operate twice a week to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), with the first flight carrying eight tonnes of cargo last week. The Indian airline said it expects regular transport of auto parts, electronics and perishables items.

“We have been operating cargo flights to Bangkok for a long time and I am delighted that we have commenced scheduled freighter operations to Thailand today,” said Sanjiv Gupta, CEO of SpiceXpress.
“Bangkok is one of the biggest centres of trade, commerce and tourism in Southeast Asia and launching scheduled cargo services between the two countries will help in seamless import and export of essential commodities in these very challenging times,” he added.
SpiceJet recently launched regular cargo flights to Singapore. The cargo carrier also flies to Hong Kong and Bangladesh in Asia.
