All Nippon Airways (ANA) proposed changes to its board, which includes the appointment of Shinichi Inoue as president and CEO of the Japanese carrier.
The 63-year-old will step in on 1 April and will succeed Yuji Hirako, who will become vice chairman of ANA holdings on the same date.
Mr. Inoue started his career at ANA’s personnel department in 1990 and throughout his tenure has held sales and marketing posts, with a stint in Beijing as well.
He helped set up Peach Aviation in 2011 and served as CEO until 2020. He is currently president of ANA’s sales and marketing division.
