The first commercial shipment using Envirotainer’s new Releye® RAP container was successfully completed with Swiss WorldCargo handling the consignment.

The shipment, composed of three Releye RAP units and two RAP e2 units, started in Basel in Switzerland and landed at New York JFK in the US.

The shipper was a global acting Swiss pharmaceutical company, with the transportation successfully going as planned with the help of live monitoring to check every detail during transit.

Envirotainer said its Control Tower service is included in all leases of the new Releye container. The company added that given Releye RAP’s same platform and technology with the RLP version, as well as the comprehensive data made available, the qualification for the pharmaceutical company customer required marginal effort and went exceptionally fast.
