Envirotainer has opened a new service station for air cargo containers in Guangzhou, China from 1 November to provide ground handling for its RKN e1 and RAP e2 containers.
With the addition of Guangzhou’s Baiyun airport (CAN), the company is close to establishing 60 stations for its flagship RAP e2 which is an extremely cost efficient and high-performing solution compared to other active and passive alternatives.’
Eddy Cojulun, sales chief at Envirotainer, said the need for secure temperature-controlled air freight solutions has prompted the company to expand its services in Asia Pacific in recent years, investing in both service options and a flexible network model.
The company’s most recent innovation, Releye RLP, has gotten the nod from main airlines in the region. China Southern Airlines approved the game-changing cargo container for fleet use and became the first on in mainland China to do so.
“We expect that our investment in Guangzhou, China Station will further support the rapid and safe delivery of pharmaceuticals worldwide,” Cojulun added.
